About Acorn
Does collection hurt?
Most people describe a light pinch as each follicle is plucked. There are no needles or incisions.
Will it affect my hair?
No. There is no surgery. A trained practitioner collects about 50 hair follicles from the sides and back of the head, where the difference is not noticeable. It is quick, relatively painless and needs no downtime.
How long until my cells are ready?
Acorn processes and preserves your cells within about 60 days of collection.
How is secretome different from PRP?
PRP is prepared from your blood on the day of treatment. Secretome is a cell-free serum made by Acorn from your own banked cells. Some clients use both. Your nurse will explain which suits your goals.
Who is a good candidate?
